Advisory Council

The Advisory Council is a two year term council of members. The purpose of the council is to advise the senior pastor on administrative, congregational, organizational and strategic issues. The congregation nominates the members of the council, and the senior pastor then confirms them in office. We hold our council meetings generally on the second Sunday of the month, except for holidays and other special occasions.

In our church the Advisory Council is not a board. However, we regard their input and advice as foundational to the proper working of the church.
