BC07 Biblical Counseling Internship

Current Status: IN SESSION.

Thank you for your interest. This class is currently in session, but it is offered on an individual basis by invitation. If you meet the prerequisites for the internship, please contact your instructor.

To provide the intern counselor with the opportunity to observe actual counseling sessions and discuss them in separate debriefing sessions with the instructor. The student will also participate in the planning of future sessions with the instructor.


This training is only available by invitation of the instructor.

  • Successful completion of the following training:
    • BC06 Biblical Counseling Practicum.
    • At least one elective course.
  • Must be actively involved in a body of believers.
  • Agreement with the affirmations and denials of the International Association of Biblical Counselors (IABC) if seeking certification.
  • Letter of recommendation from pastor or church leadership stating that the trainee is growing in regards to the traits of Christian leadership outlined in 1 Timothy 3 and seems to be called to the ministry of counseling within the church.
