DEALING WITH SIN IN OUR LIFE |
He has been manifested to put away sin
by the sacrifice of Himself. (Hebrews 9:26)
Sin can take many forms: from the occasional fall to the destructive habits that
control our life. It is a serious matter, that requires a candid and effective approach
based on the time-
People sometimes ask us to explain what the Bible means when it speaks of sin. When they ask about the nature of sin and God's purpose with us, they are asking about a truly cosmic subject.
How's your conscience -
Have you ever looked at something so many times you stopped seeing it? We do this
in many areas of life. We develop habits-
Many are caught in a vicious cycle of deepening frustration and despair as their turning away from sin is found to be anything but "complete." What is real repentance? What does it mean for us? How do we attain it?
Self-
We all do it. We do something wrong, and then justify ourselves. But does that really help? How do we find true justification?
Rescue! Salvation is a rescue operation. To understand salvation, we need to know what the problem was, what God did about it and how we respond to it.
