A church yard sale turns into a wonderful opportunity for fellowship between members and with our community. In addition to helping the church raise some very needed funds, this yard sale provided the opportunity to interact with people from the community, who did not just come to buy something, but to sit down with us and talk, enjoying a quiet moment of fellowship with us. Besides enjoying moments of laughter and fun, volunteers as well as customers were offered free refreshments both at the yard sale, as well as at the church, which was just across the street. A number of visitors indicated interest in attending our services, and said they will visit in the next few weeks.
