Biblical Counseling Training
We will begin offering Biblical Counseling training on October 7, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. At our church. The fall training will begin with Presuppositional Analysis of the Major Schools of Counseling, and will then continue with other topics, such as Biblical Counseling Methodology, Theology of Biblical Counseling, Biblical Theodicy (The Problem of Suffering), Models of Biblical Change, and more. Registration will be required. Training is offered free of charge. A love offering will be encouraged and welcome.

Homelessness: Challenges and Solutions
Informational Meeting -
The meeting will include presentations from various agencies, including:
- Rhode Island Coalition for the Homeless
- Housing Action Coalition of Rhode Island
- W.A.R.M. Shelter, Westerly
- Crossroads Rhode Island
- West Warwick Senior Center
An open Q&A session will follow the presentations.

Advisory Council
A new Advisory Council has been formed. The new council members are: Ron Pacitto (Treasurer), Alan Iannelli, Melanie Sullivan, Naomi Bone, Richard Mason and Ellen McNamara.
Council Meetings for 2011 will be held on January 11, 25; February 8, 22; March 8, 22; April 5, 19; May 3, 17; June 7, 21; July 5; August 2; September 6, 20; October 4, 18; November 8, 22; and December 6, 20.
Stories for Your Heart and Soul
Join us for an inspiring and fun story telling event on December 19, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. This is a story telling event for all ages. Services will begin at 10:00 a.m.
Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser -
Join us for a wonderful time on March 13, 2010 at 5:30 p.m. at the Senior Center in West Warwick, RI. This is a great opportunity to keep in touch, have fun and serve a good cause. There will be raffles, entertainment, and more. Proceeds will benefit the programs and ministries of Grace Family Church of Rhode Island.
Biblical Counseling Training -
We are pleased to offer additional training in Biblical Counseling which focuses on Marriage and Family issues. The training will begin on February 9, 2010 and will be held on Tuesday evenings from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The program is 16 weeks long. Details, as well as an enrollment form, are available in our ministry page. Registration is necessary and some conditions/prerequisites apply.
